Day 22 • Philberta Shadowbox

This shadowbox is the first of a series I am into, about victorian dolls. I am thinking of hanging those instead of placing them onto a shelf or such. Also, I tried crosshatch ribbon to frame it. I named all of them after old english names. This is Philberta! What do you think?

Day 21 • Hello Kid!

I love animals especially farm ones. Goats and baby goats (kids as I learned today) are my favs. Also mushrooms! The moss is from Island and it is real. I loved it :)

Day 20 • Cupcake wrappers

Easy stuff today -due to horrible lack of time- but still so cute. I have been making this garland in the past and it was a blast! It is made of some pink/white polka dot wrappers, attached to a string. After my trip to Athens, I need some time to get back to usual stuff but tomorrow I hope to have something more complicated :)

Day 19 • Pegasus standing box

Inspired by a movie I saw the other day,  I decided to make a decorative item dedicated to Pegasus. I love these lovely creatures! This one, is a horse I used to have, since childhood, transformed by adding some black cardstock wings and a tail as well. The box he is standing on, is decoupaged with mulberry paper. I love the way he looks!

Day 18 • Victor shadowbox

I love bunnies. Especially those that claim a name. This little fella got his name inspired by victorian era due to soft and delicate nature of his box. Lace all over!

Day 17 • Matryoshka shadowbox

I love Matryoshka dolls since I was a child. This one, I don't even remember where I found her, but she's been a bit renovated. You see, originally where is white now, it was red and dark blue. Too dark and colorful for me. She's got a brand new belt now, from aqua satin ribbon and a beautiful gem. Voila!

Day 16 • Gazelle shadowbox

Well, it's the day of the goat. But not every goat. Gazelle waited too long to see the light of the day. She got a new black paint, decorated her box with some aqua pastel pom poms and took her place on the pebble. Here she is! Got your goat?
