Day 66 • A small gift for a great friend!

Yesterday, we gathered a bunch of friends and went to a small tavern near the beach. Apart from some extra kilos I carry due to delicious food (yummy!!) I brought home with me some small round cones, little Mary gave to me. So, I made this shadowbox (which you can hang by the way) dedicated and gifted to her. Thank you Mary :)

Day 65 • A Spring wreath

Tomorrow is Monday. Not every day Monday though. In Greece is traditionally called "clean Monday" and it is the 40th day before Easter. For me it is the beginning of Spring and this wreath is made to celebrate it!

Day 64 • The little goat and his bunting

Remember her? She is his mother! Little goat had never been so jealous. His mother bunting was so pretty he demanded one for himself. Of course I made him one, also a mushroom to decorate his pedestal and a piece of wood. Now who was going to be jealous?

Day 63 • A wise owl always needs company

The wise owl stood still trying to listen to the tiniest noise. Those woods were pretty unfamiliar to her, as she had never been here or even near by. Suddenly, she saw Pell waving to her. What a relief! Her old friend was here to keep her company. With Pell, you're never alone!

Day 61 • Ogden the horse

I met Ogden the first time I came in the island. Out in the fields running and gathering sun. He told me his story, and I was touched. Dreams would never come true. Ogden would never be a circus horse.
